MMAP is pleased to introduce the 2017 Management Committee!
Teresa Liew was born in Singapore and completed her undergraduate university studies in England. She has a wealth of volunteering experience; working with patients with acquired brain injuries and youths with learning disabilities. She is a strong supporter of health care equality and is excited to benefit the Manali community in anyway she can.
Shaq Rizvi was born in Pakistan but was raised in Canada, as well as living for a short while in Dubai – so has quite an interesting background! He is a sports fanatic and looks forward to participating in the sport events that happen around the hospital during his time there. He is passionate about global health, aspiring to be involved with organisations such as MSF and will be eager to help as much as possible.
Sehrish Khokhar is Pakistani Australia and grew up between rural Queensland settings and Pakistan. She has done plenty of volunteering before, including in a refugee camp in Northern Greece. She speaks Hindi and can understand Punjabi, and look forward to interacting with the staff and patients in Manali.
Heather Hunt has a love of exploring different cultures and her passion for global health has led her to being a member of this year’s team. She is looking forward to satisfying her love of food and nature in Manali.
